Concha y Toro Terrunyo Camernere Block 27 2007

All wines tasted at the party held for baby Thomas on 25/08/2012. 14.5%, cork closure. Certainly, the best wine of the night from Chile’s signature grape and their biggest producer.  About £30 UK retail. Deep ruby colour, fantastic nose of coffee, mocha, and chocolate with some figs too. The mouth is a large feel of black fruits and a hint of allspice. Rich, elegant, concentrated and a very long finish. Tight tannins and will drink well for a while yet. Superb wine and shows what South America can do really well. From 2013, 18.5/20
